What is Magnesium Bisglycinate and how does it differ from regular magnesium?Updated 8 months ago

Magnesium Bisglycinate is a chelated form of magnesium derived from the magnesium salt of glycine. It’s composed of one magnesium molecule bound to two glycine molecules, which improves its absorption. The prefixes "Bi" and "Di" indicate "two" in Latin and Greek, respectively. For Magnesium Bisglycinate to qualify, its elemental purity must be at least 14.1%, meaning that in 100 mg of magnesium glycinate, 14.1 mg should be pure magnesium. This mineral is essential for supporting the muscular and nervous systems in the body.
